All Prospecting Minerals and Ores Listed

Below you’ll find a full list of all Minerals and Ores in Prospecting listed ascending by rarirty and value as well as where to find them and their values. Note that besides selling, Materials also have a high value for crafting so check the Blacksmith anvil for crafting recipes and what materials you need. Don’t sell these materials and you can lock them to make them unsellable by right-clicking on them in your inventory. Also note that you should keep Aurorite and Aetherite for Enchanting and some early-game items like Ruby or Emerald for Quests.

All Modifiers in Prospecting
In addition to digging out Minerals/Ores you can also sometimes find Minerals with special modifiers. These modifiers increase the base sell value of a Mineral so that they yield more cash. The rarer the modifier the bigger the % value increase. Here are all the modifiers so far:
- Shiny: 1.2x Value.
- Pure: 1.35x Value.
- Glowing: 1.6x Value.
- Scorching: 2x Value.
- Irradiated: 2.5x Value.
- Iridescent: 3.5x Value.
Modifier Tip: The Unstable Enchant (2% Chance Roll) helps for getting modifiers with a +25% with modifier boost.
How Luck Works in Prospecting
Here’s everything you need to know about the Luck stat in Prospecting and how it works:
- Rarity Mechanic: Each time you get a Mineral/Ore in Prospecting the game rolls a number for that Mineral in the background. The lower the number the higher rarity that Mineral will be.
- What Does Luck Do: Each point of Luck you have is the amount of times the game rolls Mineral rarity for a Mineral keeping the best/lowest value as we explained above. For example if you have Luck 4 and you get a Mineral the game will roll let’s say (4,2,3,4) with the final roll being 2 since it’s the lowest/best rarity value. So the higher Luck you have the more chances you have for the Mineral to be of a higher rarity.
- Luck Modifiers: Luck also has a set chance to either be weakened or not apply for individual item rolls. This is so that Common rarity items don’t become unobtainable at high Luck stats. This is why you might get 3 or 4 Common Minerals even if you have 500 Luck.
- All in All: Luck just increases your opportunities to get higher rarity items and doesn’t guarantee them. You can still get unlucky with high luck or get lucky with low luck.
All Ways to Boost Luck in Prospecting

Here are all the ways you can increase your Luck stat for the rarest Minerals and Ores possible:
- Get the Best Pan You Can: Pan stats include Luck so try to get the best Luck on a Pan that you can.
- Enchants: The Lucky (+5 Luck) or Blessed (+10 Luck) Pan Enchants boost Luck.
- Items: Craft items that boost Luck.
- Potions: Buying Luck potions boosts Luck. Note that potion effects are time-sensitive and activate immediately after you buy them so be ready.
- Luck Totem: You can boost Luck by x2 by placing a Luck Totem and standing near it. Buy Luck totems at the Shard Merchant in Fortune River Town or the Shop. They last a limited time the same as potions.
- Friend Bonus: If you have friends playing in the same server as you you’ll get a small Luck boost for each friend.
- Codes: Check out our Prospecting Codes and you’ll find some that grant a Luck bonus for a limited time when claimed. Note that Luck bonuses from codes stack in value and not time so if you claim two Luck codes that last half an hour and grant 10 Luck, they’ll both last half an hour (not 1 hour) and grant 20 Luck.
That’s it for my guide on all Minerals and Ores in Prospecting. Be sure to check out our codes above to claim free goodies.
